Andrea received her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Arizona State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. After her studies at ASU, she went on to pursue a law degree at the Phoenix School of Law, where she was honored to be the recipient of the Governor Raul Castro Scholarship for Academic Excellence, and graduated Cum Laude. Andrea gained a great deal of experience during her years at law school, as well as commendation for her many hours of pro bono work. As a founding volunteer of the legal clinic for Save the Family, Andrea spent the majority of these hours assisting victims of domestic violence and the homeless.
While working towards her law degree, Andrea was published in the Phoenix Law Review and served as a staff editor for the publication. She received courtroom experience as a Rule 38 attorney for Juvenile Public Defenders Office at Durango and also interned with the Attorney General’s Office in the Civil Rights Division. Afterwards, Andrea began an internship with the law firm of Morris Hall.
